My grandmother was married to Jay DUNHAM and they lived in Guymon for several years. My mother attended high school in G ymon but moved to Sedan, KS, where she graduated. Comments: my maiden name is guymon and i have been told all my life a great great uncle way back helped to found Guymon, OK. my family history goes way back to thomas guymon, william, estienne guymon in france and lots more. i'm 40 now and my husband and i loved it there when we lived there for a while. i'm from IDAHO , my grandpa came from colorado and before that utah. i love finding anything big or small tidbits stories, bad or good that has GUYMON with it!!!! it's all interesting to me and my cousin, Patty McClure, whose mom was my dad's sister!!!! Comments: My Dad's sister, Lucie, was born in Guymon on Oct. 24 1923. Dad would have been five years old at the time. I think at that time that Grandpa was a salesman for John Deere tractors. I enjoyed your web site and found it very interesting. Thanks for shar ng your time and information.

Comments: This is the first website I have seen about Texas Co OK. Good Job!!! I was born in Guymon but didn't get to live there long. My parents lived there on two different occasions. He was with TG&Y. I know some of the people they met there were life long friends. Got to meet some of them on vacation trips to Colorado. Keep up the good work!
